Lambert-St. Louis International Airport is 13 miles northwest of downtown Anyone going to the airport from downtown can take the MetroLink light rail. Stations can be found at the East and Main Terminals at the airport. Otherwise, from downtown, take I-70 west to Exit 238 (first airport exit) onto Lambert International Boulevard and follow the signs to the Main Terminal or to the East Terminal.

Lambert is the 23rd busiest airport in the United States with 83 gates and 10 major airlines including American, America West, Air Canada, Canadian Air, Conair, Continental, Delta, Midwest Express, Northwest/KLM, Southwest, United and US Air.
